Mr. David Blum, our college counselor, will help guide our students and families through the admissions process. College counseling begins in ninth grade and is a process by which student, counselor, parents and faculty partner to help usher students into the next stage of their development and education.

Mr. David Blum
David Blum has been providing college counseling to high school students as a volunteer for the past fourteen years, including co-chair of the Penn Alumni Interview Program of Washington for the past seven years. He is currently a member of the Ivy Plus Alumni Group in Seattle. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Washington. Currently, David teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the University of Washington's Department of Urban Design and Planning. He has previously taught “Junior Achievement” courses for high school students focused on various subjects including: the role of business in society, job skills, economics and entrepreneurship. In addition, Mr. Blum is a project manager for real estate development projects in the Seattle area.
