Ensuring Jewish Education, Leadership, and Community - Together

Each year, students walk through the doors of NYHS ready to learn, grow, and step into their roles as thoughtful members of the Jewish community. For more than 50 years, NYHS has been a cornerstone of Jewish education—preparing students with a strong academic foundation, deep Jewish learning, and a commitment to leadership and responsibility.

The impact of an NYHS education is evident in our alumni, many of whom have gone on to become leaders, professionals, and engaged community members—including members of our own faculty and staff. Their continued connection to NYHS is a testament to the lasting influence of our school.

Annual Giving plays a vital role in sustaining the people and programs that define NYHS. Philanthropic support strengthens our faculty, enriches our academic and Jewish studies programs, expands access through financial aid, and ensures that NYHS remains a vibrant and values-driven community for today’s students and for generations to come.

Every gift—at every level—has meaningful impact. Your generosity helps ensure that NYHS can continue to educate, inspire, and nurture the next generation of Jewish leaders.

On March 8, 2026 we will host a 36-hour Causematch campaign, designed to rally our wider community and multiply the impact of gifts through a matching challenge. This month of February, we are seeking lead supporters willing to serve as matching donors—an especially powerful way to inspire participation and strengthen the success of the campaign. Supporters of $3,600 and above who serve as matching donors will be recognized during the campaign and at a special reception later this year.

We aim to recognize matching donors at the following levels:
Visionary: $50,000
Benefactor: $25,000
Head’s Circle: $10,000
Leadership Level: $7,200
Partner: $3,600

Thank you for your partnership and for your belief in the mission of NYHS.
